Still Disconnected

Pete! It's Handsome Pete... No aversion to entering other peoples' cars and homes... I had to fish him out of the basement of the old home... Him, I'll miss...

Moca knew the move was coming... she began to sit on my lap while I was watching my new favorite show... and sleep 'till she was tired of me petting her. She's all by her lonesome right now... can't wait to give her a good head and ear rub!

Thank-all-that-is-shiny! that there are DVDs! Haven't had cable since the 1st and I've had to live off of DVDs (ofmynewfavoriteshow), and I'm almost caught up completely...

More Moving Blues...

Took a trip to the new house yesterday, to move around some boxes, to make space for soo many more boxes about to come. Brought the little beast, to get her used to this scary new place. My mom lets her out of her cage in only her bedroom. Then lets her out of the room when poor baby cries and cries for me as I showered.

So, she's walking around this strange new place meowing and yowling, and every time I get out of her line of sight, she starts up again. So, I'm constantly saying "what? I'm right here." It worked out, that, after a while she just had to follow me wherever I went. That is until she went and hid under the sofa.

I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of image that my Elph SD750 produced... As well as the black and white. It was a little tricky. (Until I figured out how to fool the lightmeter.)

Christmas With The Princess

Uber-Cute kitty shot! Christmas was good this year... better than last year, at least. So far, the best part was playing with the Wii Fit and Link's Crossbow Challenge! Way too much fun.

The kitty was fairly subdued, due to the amount of people and noise around her. She prefered to sleeep through the festivities (on her throne). Although, I think that she has become acustomed to loud noises, and feels alright around them, because of the mechanics' shop where she was adopted from.

Princess

The deal with her is that she was among a few kittens who were at a mechanics' garage. And, while bro-in-law was getting his truck taken care of the little people and sister fell for that one that, sadly, looked the healthiest. They took her home and for a trial period are taking care of her and testing the waters of the alergy pool with Hagrid. So far, so good. *fingers crossed* It's only been a couple of weeks, but she seems to be getting better, and her nose seem to be secreenting less fluid than the last time I saw her. Her eyes, I am told, are getting better too. Her third eyelid sort of creeps up her eye, and looks like it blocks some of her vision, but I don't know quite that much about cats yet... Only Time will tell... and I'll tell you in time.

Enjoying the Sun
