New HBP Trailer

I was hoping that I could post the new trailer for Angels and Demons... but alas, the youtube page won't let me...
But, this definitely makes up for it...

Reno Rant!

The steel toe safety shoes what killed me...






So, they closed our store for a night and a day to renovate... which means, change the aisles and re-line the product on said shelves. It was supposed to be organized and probably move smoother than it did... but, it didn't! The shifts were staggered... which makes sense... but the earlier crew was so messy and sloppy when they were putting up the shelves that I had to go 'round after them and pick up the Styrofoam spacers. Which wasted time that I could have put to the planograms (plans of the shelves).

Then a smooth spot where the labels for the product that had to go on the shelves were in the right spot and in the right order... I finished four 4' sections of shelf in about a half an hour.

THEN! I went to a section that was the new fruit cup and pudding section... three 4' shelf... the labels were in the wrong order... the diagram of the shelf had different stock than was on the list... So, naturally, I worked on it for FOUR hours!

Isn't it weird how you can find a smile in the strangest of places...
...like under a garbage can...(organic waste to be exact!)

My mum drove along a very snowy drive, and got stuck in said snow. Oh my... and as we tried to dig her out, three very large snow-mobilers came to give her a push out of the ruts... and, yay! We were free! No more need for CAA!

Ice in Coldwater

This post is a sort of response to monkEEs Icicle post...
While visiting family in Coldwater, we noticed the multitude of mutant icicles hanging from the various troughs. Not quite the size of the how you doin icicle, but still... so much ice in one small spot...

Christmas With The Princess

Uber-Cute kitty shot! Christmas was good this year... better than last year, at least. So far, the best part was playing with the Wii Fit and Link's Crossbow Challenge! Way too much fun.

The kitty was fairly subdued, due to the amount of people and noise around her. She prefered to sleeep through the festivities (on her throne). Although, I think that she has become acustomed to loud noises, and feels alright around them, because of the mechanics' shop where she was adopted from.
